Building Phases The first church was founded in the sixth century and comprised a basilica and an atrium. In the eighth century, this was replaced by a Longobard construction. The Romanesque facade belongs to the late twelfth century. The campanile was founded in 1280 and incorporated fragments of ancient tombs as decorative reliefs. Further renovation took place during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
