Description | Monastery consists of a church and cloister. Church is centralized and has a double ambulatory, three apses, and a dome. The inner hexagon is constituted by six columns with Corinthian capitals, and the outer arcade is supported by eight piers and two columns. Two more columns, probably reused Roman spolia, frame the west facade. Cloister walk features arcade with lunette arches making groups of four openings. Openings have horseshoe arches, eclectically shaped colonnettes, and figural imposts. |
