Description | Three-aisle, wood-roof basilica with three nave bays, a wide transept, a crypt, and a square Baroque apse flanked by apsidioles. The west facade is decorated with a rose window and a sculpted central portal with a figural tympanum. The facade is at an irregular angle with respect to the axis of the church, and the nave columns, likewise, are out of alignment. The nave elevation features a false gallery with triple openings. There is a large round tower flanking the cathedral on the north side. |
